Getting That Used Boat Motor Working
I finally had a nice weekend with some free time to start getting my aluminum fishing boat ready for the spring. Like just about every other year I had to take the time to change the spark plugs in my old boat motor and do some minor electrical work on the boat starter and trailer. I actually took the time this year and tested my the motor before getting on the lake and finding out something was wrong. I’ve owned this boat motor for several years, it’s a used Johnson 5hp boat motor I picked up on trade from a guy I did some body work on his daughters car. If you are in need of a used trolling motor or small horsepower boat motor for your aluminum boat this is a great way to get a good used boat motor. Often times guys have old jon boats they havn’t used in years but have kept a decent 20 to 40hp motor around just incase. Anyone that has shopped to find one of these smaller boat motors knows how much they go for.  Motors for small jon boat and aluminum boats are always in demand as well as trailers for them.  Since its that time of year again make sure and do the needed maintenance on your boat and motor so you don’t end up stuck out on the lake during a spring thunderstorm. If your interested in replacing that old Boat motors you can currently find some good deals at auction.
